Day 4, Mount Cook - Christmast & New Year holliday

What a long delay after the last post due to my nomadic lifestyle, moving here and there ,job searching ,at the same time viewing different places in New Zealand and meet different kind of people. So here I continoue writing about my Christmast & New year holliday in South Island.
Cycling from the camping site to Tasman Glacier, about 6km. about 5km cycling on an unsealed road.
The road from camping site to Mt Cook Village.

Unsealed road going to Tasman Glacier look out point. Weather was so hot during summer, be prepared with SPF 50 sun block and drink a lot of water.
Tasman Glacier from the look out point. The biggest glacier in New Zealand.

The glacier are from the ice age. Each year they are melting.

Tasman Glacier, covered with sands and rocks. There are glacier 70 meter under the lake and under the look out point. 27 Kilometre long, 4 kilometre wide and 600 metres deep.

View of Tasman Valley.

On the Christmast day.

Chilled out under the hot sun near the Tasman Valley after a long cycle.
