Saturday Morning, Simple Breakfast For Single Woman

Assalamualaikum & hello,

Breakfast time. As a single woman, I always treat myself with a simple but nice breakfast especially in the weekend. It is just part of loving yourself and to start your day in a happy mood.


Bake beans & half boil eggs on toast with fresh tomato for breakfast today. Very simple from the cheapest food brand 'budget' that can be found in Pak 'N' Save. Guess what??? The price of budget bread is slightly cheaper from the price of Gardenia bread in Malaysia. NZD 0.89 (budget bread price)  x RM2.5 = RM 2.23. Actually there is no such thing of 'HIGH COST OF LIVING' in New Zealand.


A can of bake beans only cost NZD0.69 (RM1.73). Affordable isn't it? New Zealand dah lama ada  product yang murah untuk membantu rakyatnya yang tidak berapa mampu. Inilah yang dikatakan 'developed country'.

So, here was my breakfast this morning that filled me up til noon.


Cinta also had a few lick from my breakfast. Apa orang makan tulah dia nak. Banyak ragam tul si kenit ni.

Rumah Sewa Ku

FRIDAY! FRIDAY! Public Holiday kat sini from Friday till Monday. Sebelum pergi jadi spectator untuk game cricket, update blog dulu. Jadi spectator pun atas jemputan seorang mat saleh yang kononnya nak dating dgn I, tapi dating kat game cricket. Layankan ajelah.

Update kali ni nak bawa jenguk2 rumah sewa. Kecil je, tapi comel, kemas dan bersih. Teman serumah minah saleh yang selalu menghilang tatkala matahari terbenam dan muncul di kala matahari kembali menyinar. 

Semua orang tau, ni telefon. Kerap gak guna untuk call teman bergossip di Auckland.


Work station gitu, dekat dgn peti ais, senang nak mencapai apa2 ketika sedang berkarya, che wah!

Tempat beradu, siap ada gambar Victoria Beckham sebagai inspirasi nak kuruskan badan. Poyo poyo jer.

Kasut, Kegilaan Makhluk Yang Bergelar Wanita

Memang best giler. Aktiviti menyelongkar garage diteruskan pagi ini. Tu dia, jumpa leather boots knee length. Elok sangatlah untuk persediaan winter yang akan melanda 'down under' beberapa bulan lagi.
Beberapa pasang heels yang masih elok dan cantik juga telah berjaya ditemui dan diselamatkan. Jimat duit untuk bershopping kasut. Kebetulan saiz yang sama. 

Pompuan mana yang tak suka dapat kasut free, cantik dan masih elok lak tu. Walaupun 2nd hand, 3rd hand ke, janji leh jimat dari beli kasut yg baru. Brand? Itu belakang kira, yang penting cantik dipandang.
Harap-harap next selongkar garage terjumpa satu guni penuh dengan dollar. Pak Cik kayo!

Super Easy Potato Curry Rolls

Assalamualaikum & hello,

This is a super easy Potato Curry Rolls to made for busy people.

1. I bought ready made potato curry from the Indian groceries near my home. Just heat in the pan. If you want more potato in your rolls, then cut 1 potato into dice shape and fry them.

2. Ready made flaky pastry.

3. After the filling is ready, just put on the pastry and roll it.

4. Heat the oven to 200cel and check from time to time if the rolls already turn into brown and ready to eat.


You can make sausage roll as well with the ready made pastry. Super easy!

Inspirational Work Out Shirt

Monday! Monday! Happy Monday everyone. Make it a great day. Remember, how you create your day is in your hand, and how you choose to interact & react to people. 

I've been working so hard to push myself for a run & work out. They were times I tell myself I can't go anymore. NO. STOP. 

I've been wanting for something so badly, really  bad whether it's about traveling or fitness, I found the way to get what I want. YES, you will find the way to get what you want and you can create your own destiny. It may not be easy but it can be done. Roar on you little fighter! GRRRR!!!!    

Everyday I push an extra mile in my running routine. Finally, I managed to run at least 5km without feeling wanna stop. Back home from a run, I push myself for another workout, body toning. Sometimes I will do my toning session in the morning before breakfast.

Let me show you my work out shirt that I'm in love with now. An inspirational long sleeve workout shirt, made from soft cotton, it says; TRAIN LIKE A BEAST, LOOK LIKE A BEAUTY.



Inspiration is the most important driving force for success in your fitness journey. Then come self motivation, follow by execution and finally EUPHORIA!!!!



The message I want to leave with you today is that beauty is important – but it must be achieved from the inside out.

Eat Clean, Stay Lean

Assalamualaikum & hello,

Here are some of my EAT CLEAN menu that I've been practicing lately. I admit that this doesn't work in Malaysia coz of the food temptation around me.

Kalau nak buat kopi susu, gantikan susu pekat manis dengan susu soya, 1 sudu kecil gula dh cukup.


Breakfeast - toast, baby spinach leaves, 1 slice of cheese, miso soup... ready for the day.

Avocado mungkin tak sepopular buah-buahan import yg lain seperti kiwi, epal atau anggur. Pemahaman kita terhadap buah ini hanya utk digunakan dlm bidang kecantikan. Tahukah anda bahawa buah ini mempunyai rasa yg lemak & isinya halus. Rendah kandungan gula & tiada garam, kaya dengan vit C, E & K. Cubalah avocado sandwich, sedap & berkhasiat.
Avocado, kat Malaysia memang mahal.


Other option for breakfeast, avocado sandwich + toast + butter.


Dinner - ubi kentang rebus, broccoli & spaghetti. Renjiskan sedikit sesame oil utk bau yg sedap.


Kalau malam-malam rasa lapar, pekena miso sup di tambah dgn tomato & baby spinach leaves.

I Want That Lean Body

Assalamualaikum & hello all,

Anyone of you here has a weight problem or looking forward to loose weight but never make it happen?

DO NOT QUIT!!!!

I was chubby 3 years ago with weight reached 59kg. To be honest, life in Malaysia surrounded with amazing & cheap food make it more harder to achieve my goal. The mamak food & yg sewaktu dengannya really tempting and I was too weak to say NO. I used to do a lot of jogging & hiking but still I failed to reduce my weight.

Me, 3 years ago. Picture was taken somewhere end of 2010.
It doesn't mean you can eat unhealthy food like nasi lemak, roti canai, mee goreng mamak, ayam goreng rempah, mee kari & all the yummy greasy food, & do a lot of exercise can burn the fat that we took.

'Janganlah takut nak makan itu makan ini, you kan banyak do all the hiking and stuff,' my friend always said this to me. This type of thinking is totally wrong.

I dah sampai fade-up and almost quit to reduce my weight, walaupun dulu I tak lah segemok mana, cuma debab & chubby. Bab perut jangan cakaplah. Contoh kat gambar atas tu, macam orang dah ada anak 3.

When I traveled, I started to learn about EAT CLEAN. Apa tu? Nanti citer, next entry.

Hasilnya selepas mengamalkan EAT CLEAN diet (picture below), on & off la coz bila balik Malaysia melantak kedai mamak jugak. Very hard to say NO to mamak.
Terkini, my new body figure, weight 48kg, my height is 155cm.
Afterall, setiap orang ada GOAL yg tersendiri. Some of us are happy with their own body figure. You know what you want to make yourself happy. If you badly want something, go for it. Never stop. Push yourself until the end.

What's In The Garage?

Assalamualaikum & hello all.

So here we are at the end of the beginning of autumn, close to mid of autumn. Ha, berbelit ayat. Cuaca mulai sejuk, especially bila berangin, brrrrrr menggigil.

So, operasi mengeluarkan all the warm clothes. Yang penting mesti lah ada style walaupun baju-baju kebanyakkannya daripada penyewa-penyewa lama. Mana yg boleh muat di badan, diambil dan simpan buat koleksi. Tapi kebanyakkanna baju-baju yang ditinggalkan semua besar-besar, saiz M ke atas.

Ready to go out in style.

Red shawl, brown belt, denim skirt & legging are all from my own collection. The black wool long sleeve tops I found it in the garage. Aktiviti menyelongkar belum selesai lagi. To be continue bila-bila ada banyak kelapangan. Sebabnya bukan sebarang selongkar, kena try & error depan cermin baru puas hati.

I'm Back After A Long Time Gone

Assalamualaikum & good afternoon down under, and good morning to friends in Malaysia.

I've been gone for so long and left my diary without any update for almost 5 months. After 5 months in UK, I was back home.

Life has it's ups & downs, twists and turns, but there is always someone there to catch you. I spend enough time to think and re-plan things for my life and path that I have to take. 

Well, finally I'm back to Christchurch, New Zealand after I left this Garden City a year ago. How time passed so quick. Been two weeks here and so far I had good time here.

My first 2013 run in Christchurch, at Hagley Park.

Since I'm back to Christchurch, I done a lot of running. I run 4 days a week about 7km each day. After each run, I will do a Pilates. I'm already in size 6, but will work more harder to tone up my body and stay in shape. Will update about my work out soon. That's it for now. More to come. Love from Christchurch xoxo
